We are totally in love with this look created by designer Anita Dongre. Simple white shorts with an off-shoulder see-through top in soft shades, along with a dash of glitter and an uber stylish waist string-belt leaves us wanting more!

Why Should Boys Have All the Fun?

This feature by designer Kavita Bhartiya is for the smart and focused urban woman. Boxy silhouettes and androgynous trousers bring in that element of zest to your workwear wardrobe. Oh-so-wearable, we declare!

Color Splash

It takes great foresight and technique to incorporate breezy colors(not one but two) into your collection and designer Malini Ramani does just that with this particular outfit. We love the bright shades, the figure hugging sleeveless top, the harem pants, the snazzy accessories, et al! Definitely the outfit for a bold lady looking to indulge her feminine side.

The Ultimate Diva

Leave it to Tarun Tahiliani to make grey look ultra glamorous! The ace designer’s Spring Summer 2012 clothing collection experiments with sequins, prints, embroidery, brocade and metallic embellishments. The wonderful necklace holds its own too. Regal splendor it certainly is!

Hit or Miss-Sharara Pants

Yes, they are pants and not a skirt! Hard to believe, isn’t it? These pants, a.k.a sharara pants, are all the rage right now and designer Dolly J has only raised the bar with these wonderful golden yellow pants and nude yellow top. Can you hear the thunderous applause yet?

Ethnic Glory

Designer Manish Malhotra sure knows his pastels and neons! An invigorating ethnic twist to the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, 2012 indeed, the charming translucent fabric, the graceful cuts, the gorgeous bits of shimmer, lace, embroidery, etc, all add to the bewitchery. We salute Manish!

Indian Fashion Avatars

Now this is what we call the ‘best of both worlds’ look! Designer Anant Kabra manages to weave his magic on the humble choker neck by using it in these beautiful ensembles, a serene white gown and a printed saree blouse paired with a lush blue saree! Could creativity take on a better avatar we ask.

Sheer Power

The stunning printed jumpsuit and the long dress with the kowl neck merely reinstate our interest in the see-through trend. Designer Kavita Bhartiya certainly deserves a standing ovation for this feat!

Metallic Sheen

Leggings are taking over the fashion scene in a big way now. From replacing the desi churidar pants to being the suited-to-all-outfits garment, leggings have surely come a long way in all their printed, solid color and metallic shine glory. Designers JJ Valaya and Kavita Bhartiya do justice to the nifty apparel by pairing it with a kaftan top and kurti respectively.

Bollywood Bytes

No fashion show is complete without a little sprinkling of Bollywood! Bipasha Basu and Madhavan look picture perfect in ethnic outfits, although the red and blue combo in Bipasha’s ghagra isn’t a hot favorite . Nargis Fakhri looks like a Star Wars princess, ready for battle, with her dazzling shimmer outfit. Sameera Reddy, Dia Mirza and Kangana Ranaut also spice it up a great deal with their fashionable attires.

Understated Elegance

The silver shimmer playing peek-a-boo in this ensemble is just spot on! From the lovely black and white assortment of hues on the translucent garment and the glitter make-up to the silver flats and bishop sleeves, this J J Valaya creation employs some of the most in-vogue trends of the season. Hats off!
